Why visit San Blas?

The San Blas Islands are truly unique, offering more than just stunning beauty. Governed by the indigenous Guna people, the islands remain free from large-scale development, making them one of the last untouched paradises in the Caribbean. You can sail between over 300 islands, many uninhabited, with crystal-clear waters and coral reefs perfect for snorkeling and diving.

What sets San Blas apart is its authentic, off-the-grid experience—no big resorts, no mass tourism, just eco-friendly sailing adventures and deep cultural immersion. You’ll enjoy fresh seafood, explore unspoiled nature, and experience the Guna way of life. It’s a must-visit for anyone seeking true serenity, adventure, and a taste of a disappearing way of island living.

Types of Charters

In San Blas, there are two main types of charters: private charters and shared charters, each offering unique advantages.

Private Charters: Exclusive Experience: With a private charter, you have the entire boat to yourself and your group, allowing for a fully personalized trip. The itinerary, activities, and meals can be tailored to your preferences.

Privacy: Ideal for families, couples, or groups of friends who want a more intimate experience without sharing the space with other guests.

Flexibility: You can decide on your daily schedule, from island-hopping to snorkeling stops, based on what you want to see and do.

Budget-Friendly: A shared charter is a more economical option, as the cost is split among multiple guests. This makes it a great choice for solo travelers or small groups.

Social Atmosphere: You'll meet other travelers onboard, making it a fun and social experience. It’s perfect for those looking to meet new people while exploring the islands.

Pre-Planned Itinerary: Shared charters typically follow a set itinerary, so while there's less flexibility, you’ll still get to experience the best of San Blas without the planning hassle.

Both options offer amazing sailing experiences in San Blas, but your choice depends on whether you prioritize privacy and customization (private charter) or cost savings and a social setting (shared charter).
